ESF is delighted to announce the ESF Piano Concerto Competition, an exciting opportunity for pianists to showcase their talent, artistry, and technical skills. This competition invites young musicians to perform the 1st movement of any Mozart Piano Concerto, celebrating the timeless elegance and brilliance of Mozart’s music. The winner will be invited to perform with the ESF Orchestra at the ESF Festival of Music in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Dear Students,
As we approach the end of the school term, please remember to return all library books before the term ends. Any books borrowed in the last two weeks will become overdue by Monday, 16th June.
From this date onward, the self-checkout counter will only support returns; borrowing will be temporarily disabled.
However, as in previous years, students in Years 7–11 may borrow up to 6 books for the summer holidays during the last week of school (June 23–27), provided the following conditions are met:
To borrow books over the summer, we’ll need to manually adjust your return date in the system. Please speak directly to Ms. Hansen or Mr. Yuen to arrange this.
Note for Year 12 Students:
You are not restricted by the 16th June deadline and may continue borrowing books for summer assignments or coursework. Please ensure all items are returned or renewed after the holidays.

Hello everyone! We are a group of Year 12 students and are passionate about supporting the welfare and wellbeing of migrant domestic workers in our communities.
From June 6th to June 24th, we will be holding a donation drive to collect gently used or new items such as accessories, makeup, shampoo, conditioner, skincare products, bags, and more. Your contributions will go a long way in supporting domestic helpers, so please drop off your donations in the designated box in the reception.Additionally, mark your calendars for Helpers Appreciation Day on August 22nd! This special event is dedicated to celebrating our wonderful helpers with a day of fun activities, including karaoke, a photo booth, volleyball, bracelet making, and more. If your helper would like to join, keep an eye out for the Gateway sign-up form, which will be shared in Term 3.

To ensure a safe and orderly environment for everyone, outside food deliveries from external restaurants are not permitted.
Here are your options for lunch:
Bring a packed lunch from home.
Purchase food from our on-campus cafeteria or cafe.
Please remember that you are not permitted to order food for delivery to the school.
If an outside food order is delivered for you, you will be redirected from the security gate to reception. At reception, your name and tutor group will be recorded and passed on to the guidance team for follow-up. Please note that you will not be able to collect the food until dismissal at 3:20 PM.

APSC 25’ (Asia Pacific Science Competition 2025)
Welcome to our second Asia Pacific Science Competition! This event aims to empower students and science enthusiasts from across the region, delving into the three sciences – Biology, Chemistry, and Physics – and constructing creative solutions through various scenarios.
Our science fair, held on October 17, will include all submissions that have made it through the first round.
The topics for each of the sciences are:
Biology: Synthetic Eye Implant for Vision Restoration: Integrating Stem Cell Biology, Gene Editing, and Synthetic Biology
Chemistry: Electrochemistry in Organic Synthesis: Advancing Sustainable Chemical Transformations, Energy Storage Technologies, and Carbon Utilization Strategies
Physics: The Role of Nuclear Fission in a Renewable Energy-Dominated Future: Physics, Challenges, and Innovations
